Man Fires Pistol Outside Home

A Patterson man is facing felony charges after he fired a hand outside his home during an argument, state police said.
Troopers responded about 10:20 p.m. on Tuesday when the man discharged the muzzle loading pistol outside his home after arguing with a family member.
Police then charged him with first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, felonies, second-degree menacing and illegal discharge of a firearm, misdemeanors.
He was arraigned Wednesday and sent to the Putnam County jail.
