Cops Searching for Suspect who Robbed Bank

Police are still searching for a suspect who robbed a bank on Route 59 of an estimated $30,000 on Tuesday. The bank security camera captured the robbery on tape. Although the video is of good quality, police are looking at other evidence to determine the bank robber's identity.

The bank was robbed in the morning at around 9:00 am.

The robber was described as a 5-foot-6 black man about 180 pounds with a beard and is said to be about 25-40 years old. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark grey sweatpants and carried a silver handgun along with a black backpack.

The heist marked the first bank robbery of 2012 after several others noted in 2011.
