2 Teens Arrested for Burglary

Two teens have been charged with burglarizing an apartment early Wednesday, state police said.

The troopers responded to an apartment complex off of Route 9A on a report of a burglary in progress. They then witnessed three suspects in that area and two fled while being interviewed. The two who fled were captured and it was then determined that the two suspects who fled were involved in that burglary but the third person was not. The two entered one apartment, stole money and ran off when a witness saw them.

Police charged one 18-year-old boy and one 15-year-old boy with one count each of second-degree burglary and attempted second-degree burglary, felonies.
