A former library employee has agreed to serve one to three years in state prison for stealing over $160,000 out of the public library system over the course of 7-years.
The accused pleaded guilty to second-degree grand larceny and filing a false tax return, both felonies. She remains free without bail and is scheduled to be sentenced May 3.
She faced up to 15 years in prison if she had been convicted at trial of grand larceny, the top count in the indictment.
