Two Charged with DWI in Somers, Mount Pleasant

Troopers charged two motorists with DWI after traffic stops in Somers and Mount Pleasant, police said.

A 21-year-old from Torrington, Connecticut, was charged with misdemeanor DWI early Tuesday morning on Route 100 in Somers.

A 36-year-old man from Marblehead, Massachusetts, was charged with misdemeanor DWI Tuesday on Route 117 in Mount Pleasant.

Both were released on appearance tickets.
