Man Calls Cops Then Arrested for DWI

A 55-year-old Eastchester man alerted a police officer to altercation was arrested for DWI, town police said.
The man was arrested after he flagged down a police officer on Mill Road on Wednesday to tell him that he had just been in a fight with another man in Tuckahoe, Eastchester police said today. The officer then smelled an odor of alcohol on his breath. He was then arrested and then charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, after he failed a blood alcohol test. He had a
BAC of 0.11 percent, police said. The state limit is 0.08 percent.
The altercation did not result in an any arrest.
