Woman Facing Nine Charges in DWI Death

A woman from Queens is charged with killing one and injuring another after DWI the wrong way on I-95 and the charges could send her to state prison for years.
A Westchester County grand jury charged the 26-year-old with five felony and four misdemeanor charges for the accident she caused on July 24 that killed a native of East Orange N.J. and injured a passenger from Elizabeth, N.J
She appeared in court in a wheelchair today. The pleaded not guilty to all charges against her, including the three felony counts of aggravated vehicular homicide (one each for driving recklessly), driving with a blood-alcohol level of at least 0.08 percent, and driving with a BAC of 0.18 percent.
She was charged with one count each of second-degree manslaughter and
first-degree vehicular assault, both felonies; three misdemeanor counts of DWI and one count of reckless driving; a misdemeanor.
