Woman DWI in Fatal West Islip Crash

A 22-year-old woman admitted that she was DWI last year when she caused an accident that killed her friend in West Islip. She plead guilty at the Suffolk County Court to
vehicular manslaughter, driving without a license, reckless driving and other charges.
Prosecutors said she drove off the road, struck a utility pole and rolled the car several times in June 2010. Her 23-year-old friend was killed.
She will be sentenced Nov. 29.
