Two Off-Duty NYPD Officers Arrested for DWI

Two off duty police officers were arrested for driving while intoxicated in two separate incidents.  One 26-year-old off-duty officer was arrested after he was involved in an accident with a parked car in Bushwick.  He was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries.  A blood test at the hospital revealed that he was DWI.

Another 29-year-old off-duty officer was arrested after he was found asleep inside his vehicle with the keys in the ignition in Queens. Police said that he refused to take a Breathalyzer test.

Both were suspended without pay for 30-days.
