A Cortlandt man was due in court to explain to a judge as to why he was picking up a two-pound package containing marijuana from a local United Parcel Service (UPS) office, police said.
Police were tipped off by a security official at the UPS center in Yorktown Heights about a suspected suspicious package, which was found to contain marijuana, police said. At that same time, the recipient came into the center to claim the package.
The 33-year-old was charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a
felony.
