DWI Driver Crashes Crashes; Tells Police he "Didn't Know"

A 25-year-old Carmel man is accused of driving into another vehicle while speeding on the Taconic State Parkway. After crashing into the other vehicle, he then crashed again. He told troopers he didn't know he had been in a collision, police said.
Witnesses told police that they witnessed him speeding and driving unsafely on Tuesday when he drove into another vehicle. Both cars then drove into a guardrail.
The driver was charged with DWAI, a misdemeanor .
