Pharmacist Charged with DWAI-drugs

A Poughkeepsie pharmacist was charged with DWAI-drugs on Saturday after he rear-ended another vehicle, police said.

The 56-year-old was arrested in Poughkeepsie at a gas station.  He admitted to being under the influence of "numerous narcotic drugs," police said in a statement.

He was then charged with driving while impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor, and is due in Town Court on May 10.
