Man Charged with Felony DWI on Route 139

SOMERS - Troopers charged a town man with felony DWI after stopping him for speeding on Route 139, state police said today.

The Somers man was stopped around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday and he was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol.

After the man refused to submit to a breath test, he was charged with felony DWI due to a previous conviction within the past 10-years, police said.
