Driver Charged With DWI in Parkway Crash

A man was arrested for DWI after he crashed his SUV, and rolling it over in Smithtown on Wednesday evening, New York State police said.
He was driving his vehicle southbound when he lost control and the vehicle rolled over at 5:30 p.m. near the exit for Jericho Turnpike, police said.
When the Troopers responded, they found the 46-year-old Bay Shore man to be under the influence of alcohol. He had a blood alcohol content of .23 percent, nearly
three times the legal limit of .08 percent.
He was then charged with driving while intoxicated and traffic violations.
