A convicted drunk driver was pulled over after leaving a strip club and was indicted for failing to install an Ignition Interlock system.
He faces up to 4-years in prison for ignoring an order to install the ignition interlock on his vehicle following his June 2009
DWI conviction.
In August 2010, state lawmakers put a provision into Leandra's Law that requires anyone convicted of DWI to install the alcohol-detecting device inside their vehicles for at least 6-months. The device prevents a vehicle from starting up if it detects a blood-alcohol content of .025 or higher. The defendants must pay for the device.
