Troopers Charge 2 with DWI

State police said today that they charged two motorists with DWI after recent traffic stops in
Westchester and Putnam counties.
A 44-year-old from the Bronx was charged with felony aggravated DWI because there was a child inside the car, and driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, on I-95 in New Rochelle. The driver was released on an appearance ticket.
A 36-year-old man from Danbury, CT was charged with misdemeanor DWI and drinking alcohol inside a motor vehicle while on the highway, a violation, on Route 22 in Southeast. He was held for
arraignment.
