Mahopac Man Charged with DWI After Crash

A Mahopac man was found to be
DWI after he rolled his car over Thursday night, Carmel police said today.
Police responded at about 11 p.m. to find the 23-year-old driver outside the overturned vehicle. There was a 24-year-old passenger still inside the car Chief Michael Johnson said in a release. The passenger was pulled out from inside the overturned vehicle. Both were taken to a local hospital to be treated for various cuts.
Police then charged the driver with DWI and
reckless driving, misdemeanors; failure to drive right, disobeying a stop sign, unreasonable speed and traveling over a double-yellow line, all infractions.
