Drunk Driver Crashes Kills Mistress, cops say

A 32-year-old drunken driver crashed his vehicle into a traffic signal, then into a median and then into a parked car in Brooklyn early Saturday, killing his girlfriend who was in the back seat with the driver's 21-year-old cousin, cops said.

The 32-year-old mistress was from Fort Greene, Brooklyn, and she was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.  The cousin was taken to Lutheran Medical Center in serious but stable condition.

Witnesses said the driver got out of the vehicle and was walking and spinning around in circles saying that he did not know whow was driving.

The driver (an unemployed maintenance worker) was arrested and charged with manslaughter, vehicular manslaughter, aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and DWI.
