Driver DWI in Hit-and-run Crash

A 30-year-old Yonkers man was arrested for DWI after his vehicle was hit on the
Ocean Parkway on Memorial Day, New York State Police said.
The driver reportedly told Troopers that he was driving westbound near the when another driver cut him off. He said it caused him to hit the curb on the shoulder of the parkway, police said.
His front tire was lost in the crash. The other driver did not make contact with Han's vehicle.
The Trooper smelled alcohol and then the driver failed sobriety tests, police said. He allegedly had a blood alcohol content of .14 percent.
The man was then charged with DWI. He will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead.
