Man Dead After Hit by Drunk Driver

A Harlem man died yesterday after a drunk driver hit him and then left the scene of the accident. Instead of stopping, the driver hit the gas after striking the man and left him lying in the street, cops and witnesses said. She was caught after she crashed into a vehicle then into another a parked car, cops said.
The pedestrian suffered a massive head injury died hours later.
The driver was later charged with leaving the scene of an accident, DWI and driving with a suspended license.
She could face more charges as a result of the man's death.
