Driver Charged With DWI in Crash

An alleged drunken driver was arrested after NYS police said that she sideswiped another vehicle in North Lindenhurst on Wednesday night.
The 28-year-old woman was driving westbound when she sideswiped another vehicle at 9:30 p.m., police said. A Trooper said she failed sobriety tests and had a BAC of 0.12 percent. Three grams of marijuana were also found inside her vehicle, police said.
She was charged with DWI, unlawful possession of marijuana and traffic violations.
She will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip
