Sarena Walsh ordered to serve two to six years in state prison for her behavior on the night of Sept. 28, 2009. Walsh was DWI on Central Park Avenue in
Yonkers when she ran two red lights and plowed into the driver's side of another vehicle, police said.
That driver was left unconscious, with injuries. After the collision, police said, Walsh got out of her vehicle, threw her keys into the air and then ran away, biting the arm of a witness who tried to stop her. After Yonkers police found her at her boyfriend's apartment, she cursed and laid on the hood of the police vehicle in an attempt to stop police from leaving with her boyfriend.
She pleaded guilty to felony first-degree vehicular assault and
DWI and misdemeanor attempted
assault.
