A 14-year-old faces a felony drug charge after state troopers found him having several prescription drugs for which he lacked a prescription, state police said.
The minor boy was arrested Friday after state police responded to the Cortlandt Town Center where there was a fight involving some youths. One of them was the 14-year-old, who had various narcotics, police said.
He was taken to the Cortlandt state police barracks, where he was charged him fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
The boy was released to a guardian and ordered to appear Dec. 27 in Westchester County Family Court.
