A Greenburgh woman drove drunk on Sunday and hit another vehicle carrying four people, including a 6-month-old baby, police said.
Police said she was driving on Broadway at 6:42 p.m. when her vehicle crossed into the other lane and collided with another. After the accident, she continued driving but was stopped a short time later. Police said she failed a field sobriety test.
The driver of the struck vehicle, and two of her passengers, were treated for various injuries. The baby was unharmed, police said.
The 52-year-old woman is charged with leaving the scene of an accident and two counts of DWI, all misdemeanors. One of the
DWI charges is an aggravated count, police said, because her
BAL was 0.22 percent - nearly three times the New York State legal limit of 0.08 percent.
Her license has been suspended and she has been ordered not to drive.
