Motorcyclist Killed; Struck, Then Run Over by DWI Driver

A 22-year-old was killed in Manhattan Saturday when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver, then run over by a driver that was DWI, cops said.

The motorcyclist was at a traffic light and when the light turned green, he was hit from behind.  The force of the impact launching him into the intersection.  That's when a driver in an SUV ran him over.  The driver stayed on the scene but was arrested for DWI, cops said.

The biker was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police were still searching for the first driver who fled the scene and police were asking near-by businesses for surveillance footage from their cameras.
