Four Motorists Charged with DWI

Troopers charged four motorists with DWI or
DWAI by drugs after traffic stops in Westchester and Putnam counties, state police said.
A 32-year-old woman from Cortlandt was charged with felony DWAI by drugs about on East Main Street in Cortlandt. The charge was elevated to a felony because she had a previous conviction, police said.
A 25-year-old man from Danbury, CT, was charged with misdemeanor DWI about 12:15 a.m. on I-684 in North Salem.
An 18-year-old man of New Fairfield, CT, was charged with misdemeanor DWI about 5:30 a.m. today in Patterson.
A 40-year-old from Yorktown was charged with DWI and aggravated DWI, misdemeanors on I-684. The aggravated DWI charge indicates that his blood-alcohol limit was at least 0.18 percent (more than twice the legal threshold in New York).
