Driver Accused of DWI in Crash

A woman is facing charges of DWI after crashing her vehicle on Sunday morning, Southampton Town Police said.
The driver was driving southbound on Seven Ponds Rd when she lost control of her vehicle and then crashed early Sunday morning at 6:29 a.m., police said. The 22-year-old Ridge woman then failed sobriety tests at the scene, police said.
She was charged with DWI, suspended registration and other traffic violations. She was then taken to a local hospital for injuries that she suffered in the crash.
