Boater Arrested for BWI in Greenport Crash

A 23-year-old was arrested for
drunken boating after he crashed into a jetty in Greenport Harbor, Southold Town Police said.
The boater was navigating eastbound when the crash occurred at 2:41 a.m. Saturday, police said. The Greenport resident was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for injuries sustained in the accident, and then released.
It was unclear if three passengers aboard were injured.
