Man Charged Under Leandra's Law on Sprain

State police said that a Bronx man faces a felony charge after DWI with a child inside his car.
The 44-year-old was stopped on the Sprain Brook Parkway on Wednesday and was found to be driving drunk with a minor inside his car, according to police. Police did not disclose the child's age, gender or relationship to the driver.
He was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child in the car, a felony under Leandra's Law, and was held for arraingment at
Yonkers City Court today.
