Drunk Sanitation Worker Hits Vehicle, Injuring Two: Cops

A 30-year-old sanitation worker was arrested for DWI after he smashed his garbage truck into a car on a Brooklyn street, authorities said.
The sanitation worker hit the a Hyundai Elantra head-on when he veered into the wrong lane about 5:20 p.m, authorities said. The driver and passenger of the sedan were taken to local hospitals. They are both in stable condition.
The worker has been with the department of sanitation for seven years, was given a Breathalyzer test and failed, police said.
