Supermarket Employee Charged in Theft

Stop & Shop supermarket employee Marcos Jesurum, 21, of Ossining, was charged with third-degree grand larceny, a felony, after he was seen by a manager taking cash from a register and putting into his pocket, police said.
Police were called to the scene and after further investigation, it was determined that Jesurum had been taking money and he had also been taking gift cards for the past three weeks, totaling $7,780.
He was also charged with a possession-of-marijuana violation after cops said a small amount of it was found inside his pocket.
