Putnam Valley - New York State Troopers said today that they charged a Lake Peekskill man with felony driving while intoxicated on Monday.

The 40-year-old from Lake Peekskill was stopped on William Street around 5 p.m. Monday and was determined to be under the influence of alcohol, police said.

The charge was elevated to a felony DWI because he had a previous DWI conviction within the past 10-years, police said.
