Driver Had $1,500 Worth of Marijuana in Car Trunk

Armonk - State police say that a Bronx man was found to have had 11.5 ounces of marijuana in his car trunk on Monday and faces a felony charge.
Achille Galante, 25, was driving on Interstate 684 when he was stopped for having darkened windows and he was found to have had a suspended license state police Investigator Joseph Becerra said today. Police impounded his Acura.
Galante was charged with third-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a felony, as well as vehicle and traffic violations.
Galante was being held on $25,000 bail.
