Suspect Held on Home Invasion Charges

An ex-con has denied committing two armed home robbery in Brentwood and Bay Shore only one week apart in September 2010.
A 46-year-old pleaded not guilty at the Suffolk County court to a grand jury indictment charging him with multiple counts of burglary and robbery.
Police said he was armed with what appeared to be a handgun when he broke into a Leahy Street home on Sept. 22 and a Mannatuck Blvd. home on Sept. 27. He is alleged to have also committed several street robberies.
He is being held without bail at Suffolk County jail due to a parole violation.
