Cortlandt Man Charged with Burglary

Twenty-four-year-old man of Cortlandt faces felony charges after a homeowner arrived home and interrupted his burglarizing the homeowner's home, state police said.
State police were watching the Mohegan Colony section of Cortlandt in response to a recent report of daytime burglaries when the homeowner arrived to interrupt the burglary, Investigator Sean J. Morgan said.
After more investigation, police charged him with three counts of second-degree burglary and one count of attempted second-degree burglary, felonies.
He is being held at the Westchester County jail.
