3 Charged with DWI

Three men were arrested on DWI charges in White Plains Wednesday and yesterday.
A 24-year-old was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, by police responding to reports of a van blocking traffic at Central Avenue and Tarrytown Road.
Cops found him asleep at the wheel of his 1995 Dodge van in the intersection. He failed a sobriety test.
Yesterday, police at a North St. and Westchester Ave. checkpoint arrested drivers who smelled of alcohol when they were stopped. One 30-year-old driver from Port Chester, was charged with DWI. Cops said his blood alcohol level was 0.16 percent. One 23-year-old from Yonkers, was arrested on a DWI charge. His blood alcohol level was 0.14 percent, police said.
