Three Arrested on Weapons Charges

Elmsford - Police say that three men were charged Saturday night with criminal weapons possession after they were found carrying two loaded handguns, a knife and a baseball bat.
Greenburgh police are investigating whether the three had any connection to a robbery reported Friday night in the area of the arrests. On Saturday night, police interviewed a 27-year-old Elmsford resident who was being treated for cuts to his face at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, police said.
The man told police he was attacked and robbed by four or five men around 11 p.m. Friday in the area of Payne Street. Police said they are investigating to determine whether the two incidents were connected. Those arrested were being held Sunday morning pending arraignment.
Darnell M. Woodhouse, 21, of Elmsford was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony. Andrew E. Bandoo, 20, of Elmsford was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, felonies. Brent C. Morant, 20, of Silver Spring, Md., was charged with two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor.
