Teens Charged in Mugging

Yorktown - Three teenagers, including two minors, face a felony charge in a weekend mugging, police said today.
Taj Simmons, 17, of Yorktown, was arrested around 9 p.m. Friday shortly after the victim reported to police that three people forcibly stole $320 from him at 720 Lee Blvd. The mall is located at 650 Lee Blvd., police said. Police did not release the victim's age or town.
Also arrested by plainclothes officers who responded were two minor boys, 14 and 15, from Cortlandt.
Police charged the three with second-degree robbery, a felony.
