Nursing Home Worker Charged in Identity Theft

Cortlandt - A nursing home employee is accused of stealing a resident's debit card and then withdrawing $2,000 from several banks.
State police said that William Brownlee, 26, of 5 Redway Road, Ossining, was charged with first-degree identity theft, a felony. Brownlee, who was arrested Wednesday, worked in the laundry and maintenance department of the Bethel Nursing Home. The home is on Springvale Road but has a Croton-on-Hudson mailing address.
