Hood-hopping Teen Damaged Four Cars in Peekskill

Peekskill - Police say an 18-year-old city youth accused of breaking a windshield and denting the hood of a car he was jumping on was arrested on Memorial Day. He was charged with damaging three other cars as well. The teenager, Wayne Dabbs, was charged with four counts of second-degree criminal mischief, a felony, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
An officer saw him jumping on the hood of a car on Dyckman Street shortly before 1 a.m. Monday, according to a release. Police said that three other cars in a two-block area were similarly damaged.
He was due to be arraigned today in City Court.
