Brewster - Police said today that John Centrilla, 52, of 31 Main St., faces felony forgery charges for making a copy of his village parking permit and selling it to a friend
Chief Inspector John Del Gardo of the Village Police said that officers learned that he had twice bought a $100, three-month parking ticket (the cost for non-residents is $166) then made a copy of the permit and sold it to a friend for $100. These parking permits are displayed in the vehicle window so parking-enforcement personnel can determine if the car is parked legally. John Centrilla was arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree forgery.
