Man Arrested for Driving with Suspended License

A Hillcrest man was taken into police custody Sunday after being accused of driving with a license that had been suspended 25 times
Orangetown police say Leslie Hurd, 23 was stopped after he was seen riding a 2007 Suzuki motorcycle erratically about 2:30 a.m. Sunday. A records check revealed that Hurd's license had been suspended 25 times, police said.
Hurd also had outstanding arrest warrants for other vehicle and traffic related offenses.
Police charged him with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, a misdemeanor. After being arraigned at the Orangetown Police Department, Hurd was sent to the Rockland County jail. Bail was set at $2,500.
